Being an artist is like having 10 different jobs

I really like doing different things and using all sides of my skills. I love the things that I can do.
I don’t have the same day over and over. (I never have 2 days the same)

Being an artist is like having 10 different jobs and no fixed pay. As a profession, it is only for the passionate and the dedicated. I’m sure all my artist followers will agree.

To help you aspiring artists know what sort of a professional life you may have,  here are some of the things I have done. They come and go, and I often don’t know what is going to happen in the next half year, but so far I have always had something in the pipeline.

Here are here are some of the ways I get income to put food on the table and pay the rent.:

My biggest project at the moment is developing my workshops and retreats in France. But for aspiring artists who are following me, I must tell you about Society6. I have been selling things there for some years now.

Everybody can sign up and sell their illustrations and art printed on mugs, blankets, t-shirts, bags, shower curtains, trays and lots more. Society6 will send out the orders and send a  percentage payment to the artist. It is a great way to get some visibility for your work and make a little money

For me as an artist, it is a great way to get a little extra income to make things go around. Every little counts. It is a great way to support your favorite artist for a small amount of money.
