A peek inside my moleskin sketchbook.

5 minute exercise in a sketchbook

Here is a little peek into my moleskin sketchbook!

I recently filled all the pages in my moleskin sketchbook, I have had so much fun working on the theme “Fashion Illustration”.

I don’t always have a lot of time to draw and paint so I found some ways to challenge myself to do more sketches, In this sketchbook, I challenged myself to draw for a minimum 5 minutes on each page. It has been a fun way to get to be more creative.

Nearly every day I have been filling it with drawings of women from fashion magazines. I would turn the magazine upside down and draw the sketchs upside down too. Even after 50 pages. It still produces surprising outcomes, which are so entertaining and I especially love it when it results in some weird or hilarious drawings.

I have experimented and explored new techniques and I ended up finding some new styles. And this is exactly why I LOVE practicing in my sketchbooks!

I used pens, pencils, watercolors, and ink in these works.
